It’s such an effortless skill. I don’t even think about it.
I was surprised while listening to the podcast Deep Dive with Ali Abdaal and Alex Lieberman.
Alex Lieberman calls ‘typing’ an essential skill.
He sold his The Morning Brew newsletter for $ 75$ million at age 28.
At the moment, I’m typing this on my phone (I’m on a ski holiday), and it’s much more uncomfortable compared to when I’m typing on the laptop.
I could not keep up with this writing habit if I only had a phone.
I could not publish online if I would only write on paper.
But having a keyboard and being able to type blindly and fast makes the typing itself effortless.
Giving space and time to the brain to think about the words and sentences I want to say.
